I am not sure if this in the correct section to post this question.

I have been thinking about doing a small cluster, Power Mac G4s dual cpus. I will buy them one at a time as I get the money.

My question is, will the main computer be using just the CPUs % ram of the other computers? or will it use graphics processors as well? and if so could you hook up several monitors?

The main computer is a 24" iMac Core 2 Duo 3.06 and soon to be 4GB, 500GB

Thank You

Cluster for what?

There are clustering systems around that let the main system share a task across multiple clients, but they're usually for specialized tasks such as video processing, mathematical calculations, statistical analysis, etc.

As such each system will depend on what you're trying to do (and whether the applications you're using are written to take advantage of a cluster setup)
