We have a windows network at my office, and we are developing and testing software on both windows and mac machines. The update manager for our software that we are developing looks to a certain machine on our network. The path that the update manager uses works for the windows machines, but not for the macs because the macs have to first mount the volume, making the path start with:
file:///Volumes/ In contrast, the windows path would be: http:// Is it possible to either (1) configure the mac to have an absolute path to the destination without mounting it as a volume, or (2) use a path that will work for both the windows and mac computers? Thanks! |
