I am soon to be moving into my new flat that has wireless internet.
Unfortuintely I dont have airport built in to my Mac Pro and its not as simple as me buying the card from apple and fitting it myself (as its a newer mac and apparently the card is compatible?)- I have to take it to a dealer and pay £100 ($200) for it to be fitted. Is there a way I can fit it myself so it works or is it something that apple have to do in order for it to work? I noticed on the US store there is a AirPort Extreme 802.11n* Enabler for Mac - is this what is required for me to fit the airport extreme card myself so it works? Thanks for your help |
