![]() Mac Specs: Mac Book Air
|
Hi all,
another noob's question from me... sorry for that! I have a NAS with linux on EXT3. Both windows and Mac (a mac book air) access this NAS but... windows, in which it appears as a network mapped drive, works ok, I can see folders and files with a small delay. From the macbook, as soon as I try to see (open) music directory or photo directory, it will take several minutes to list the directory content. If I try to open iPhoto and "import files", I can't because it will stop at the photo's parent folder, staying blank for a LOT of TIME! The other folders, which contains few files compared to those 2 folders, runs much better. Windows works ok on all folders, which is strange to me. Thanks for any advice.
