I have a 1.25 gHz G4 Powerbook, 512 RAM. My WAP consists of Motorola cable modem (Roadrunner) and Netgear 802.11b router.

When I connect directly to the router with an ethernet cable, my internet speed is great. However, my wireless connection is very very slow and pages seem to always get stuck during loading. I also have difficulty playing any sort of videos because they don't load fully. The problem seemed to worsen after a recent upgrade to Tiger from Panther.

Any idea what might be causing this? Do I need to upgrade to 802.11g? Do I need more RAM? Does it have to do with my WEP encryption?

I am stuck (just like my internet) and need help. Any advice appreciated!

Thanks,
RB
