So I have had my network unprotected for the last couple of months. I am using a Linksys Wireless-G Router. Recently, my internet has been moving rather slow, and I assume this is because other people are leeching off my connection
. How do I put a password on my MacBook for my internet connection?

You aren't really putting a password on your computer, you want to put a password on your wireless point. Open up a web browser and log into the router, Linksys is usually 192.162.1.1 and find the WPA security settings. Give it a whopper of a complicated password. At that point you will have to reconnect to your newly protected wireless network. All of your life's problems will be solved.
