Need AirPort help

I have a new imac which connects to my netgear wireless base station perfectly.

But, next to it I have a mac mini which does not connect to the wirless base station because is doesnt have the airport thingy.

Because my imac is next to my mac mini is ther any way I can use my imacs airport receiver (or whatever its called) for my mac mini. Maybe by using some cord to connect the two computers or something like that.

Why don't you just hardwire the mini into the router?
