Has anyone interfaced a sony camera with a MacBook or a PowerMac? If so can you describe the experience. Was this easy to do? Plug and Play? Where there any problems? THANKS!

I use my friend's Sony miniDV camera with my Macbook, iMovie, and Final Cut Express 4 all the time with no problems at all (except 1 tape but that's a different story).

Just hook it up via firewire and the Mac's see it and let me start the import.
