Dear All
I am facing a problem. I write an iPhoto library form a MAC Tiger on a CD and now imported that library into my system which is also MAC Tiger. But now it is asking for Create Library or Find LIbrary options. Is there any problem related to burning the disc or something else? The photo contents are there on the CD. I am using iPhoto4 on my system. If you have any suggestion/idea please let me knoe. Thanks Vishal Singh Bhardvaj Vishal Singh Bhardvaj |

The process to create an archive of your pictures is to burn a disc with the iPhoto Library folder on it. Do not export your pictures from within the app, unless you have only a few, and want to simply re-import those in thier original format.
Once you have a burned disc with the iPhoto Library on it, you can then copy that folder back into the Pictures folder within your Users folder. Opening iPhoto should find it, as normal, and open it up. When upgrading, to a new version of iPhoto, you are often prompted to allow a process of reconfiguring the existing photos for compatibility, but that's not a problem...just a little time allowed for the process to complete. |
