iMail Business Cards

I am wanting to create a signature that looks like my business card. Is there a way to do this? When I copy and paste, the graphic is too large and it takes forever to email (even when the signature is only 72dpi).

i am using the email program that came with my mac. i am running tiger on my mac.

The business logo is a .png. I have tried inserting that into Word and then putting the text underneath. Then, I pasted it into Mail. I have created an actual business card graphic in Photoshop and saved it as a .jpg. This worked but even though the file was only 72 dpi, it still caused the email to be 1.2mb (too big).

I have Illustrator and Photoshop.

I hope I answered the question right.

I can get the signature to work now by copying the logo and text from Illustrator but it sends as an attachment in my email. The file size ends up being 147kb. Is that a problem? Will that create issues for people receiving my emails?

I'd save it as a GIF. If you go to save for devices and web in Photoshop you should be able to save it as a 16, 32 or 64 colour GIF which will have a small file size.
