I can't get my MBP to recognize my new camera, and it looks like there are no mac drivers available from canon. I've got the cd that came with it, but I don't want all of those programs, anyone have experience with this camera specifically, or at least know what the bare minimum of components I'll need to install are?
Thanks in advance

Hi zoo mob, I would think just loading in image browser would be sufficient, that is the mac version of zoom-browser which is pc, or you could get your hands on a card reader.

Have you tried the Image Capture application?

Also did set up your as a hard disk or a camera?

Canon cameras don't mount on the desktop like other cameras do when you connect them directly to the computer.
You will have to use something like Image Capture to get the pictures from it if you connect the camera directly.
