I am new to iPhoto and I recently created a "book" which I am going to purchase through Apple. The phone album, or "book" turned out great. While building this photo album, I noticed there was a "play" button which created a slide show of the photo album with music. I was wondering if I could somehow transfer the iPhoto album(book) to iMovie or something and burn the slide show that was built on the fly to DVd or import it into iMovie. It would be great to give this photo album that I created as a printed book and then also give it to other friends as a digital slide show or something. Does any know if that is possible?

Thanks,
Richard

Select the slideshow, then in the menu select "Share > Send to iDVD". I've never tried this option, but I guess it should send you in the right direction...
