is there an 'ms paint' type of application for apple.
kinda like text edit instead of ms word.

im trying to make a desktop wallpaper of text but i'm not sure how i would save that and select that as a wallpaper in the desktop/screen saver section.

There are several, some free and some that cost. We use EasyDraw for Mac and you can see it at www.easydraw.com.

Another site you might check is www.freemacware.com

Paintbrush is another "ms paint" for mac.
