finally, a full-frame Nikon DSLR! not that i'll be buying one at that price

interesting that they've resisted the temptation to spec it with a massive number of megapixels

no AF-S 50mm 1.8 in amongst the lenses tho... (boo)

D3 looks great, the photographs taken at ISO 1600, 3200 and even 6400 that are online look simply amazing...will be interesting to see first hand if they are really out of camera with that little amount of noise.

This news is sooo 3 weeks ago.
It came out like 2 days after the Canon 40D.


I drive a Mazda Rx-7, shoot a Canon 20D, and soon.......... I will use a Mac.
