let's just say I am going to write a few documents for publication about these 2 programs. And adobe (well at least their PR firm) seems all too happy to provide me with the best experience possible, they really are a great company to work with. Very generous!

Yah I guess you're right. I just had to tell someone, and all you guys are into the photography and Mac world so I thought you'd like to know.

I got this deal purely because I use mac's. I recently switched from running PC's, been doing photography forever. Then one day on another non-computing forum a guy notices me mention my macbook in one of my posts, and asks me if I'd be interested in reviewing software. Of course I jumped on that, there's no pay involved but I get to keep everything I test.

$2000 worth of coveted software for a 1,200 word commentary is great compensation I think.

Update: I got the software today and it was much more than I expected.

    In the box:

Adobe creative suite 3 design premium (full shrinkwrapped edition)
Adobe creative suite 3 web premium (full shrink wrapped edition)
Adobe Photoshop lightroom (full shrink wrapped edition)

These are all packaged in the exact same packaging as they would be if I bought them from a retail store. Here where I live, the total price of all this software including tax would be $3,949 and change. There will be some repeat software between the two creative suite editions they sent though.

    Not bad!
