does anyone know about a good gif maker? i cant find any for mac.

If you have Photoshop you can use the built in "Animation" feature, or try GifBuilder which is a free alternative. There are a few other free programs, do a search here or over at MacUpdate

You can create gif's in ImageReady also. I used it for a lot of the UserBars I've made for people.

imageready comes with ps and is made for making animations.
