Others have said automator will do this. I haven't used it though, so it's something you might want to browse for unless some one else chimes in soon enough.

Yup, if you have Photoshop, go to File, Scripts, Image Processor. It will process one folder of images into another, and can do all sorts of things, like resizing, changing color spaces and so on. I use it all the time. A wonderful tool.
