Hi!

Is there a way to convert a transparent image to an image and it's correspondent mask?
Is there a particular app?
Can Photoshop itself do that?

Cheers,
Tobi

I'm not sure I fully understand your question, as in transparent image do you mean a .png file saved with its transparency? Its pretty easy to convert anything into a mask once its in photoshop, I don't think any other applications deal with masks as well as photoshop can.

Maybe provide a few more details on exactly what you are working with and what you are trying to achieve, and I'll help out further.
