I am planning to purchase a new intel macbookpro on wed. and i was wondering if i will be able to use my mac copy of photoshop cs on my mbp. I only use photoshop for light imaging projects so if it will not work i would love to have suggestions for other free and legal programs that work well

I have photoshop cs installed on my MBP. So the answer is yes it will work. But since cs is ment for ppc processors the program has to run through rosseta.

So basically it will work, but that version of ps cs may not be any faster then your old comp. but other programs that run nativly on intel obviously will be.
