iphoto and selecting photos to import from camera

Is there away to select which photos from my digital camera i want to import with iphoto?

MacintoshHD -> Applications -> Image Capture will allow you select which photos you wish to download off your camera and gives you the ability to choose whereabouts on your HD you want to save them.

Once you hook up the camera hit enter twice and it will show everthing on the memory card and then you can drag them to the library list on the side. Once you hit enter twice it may take a bit for the camera to load the pics up.
