I threw together a slideshow in iphoto 5, how do I put that on a dvd-r?

I think you can do that in idvd but I want to keep the one from iphoto exactly the same, just on a dvd-r. How do I do that?

Mac: Macbook C2D 2.0ghz, 120gb hdd, 1gb ram, black
iPod: iPod nano 2ng gen. 8gb, black
