Using gimp, how do you get a picture with some color on some items, but the rest black and white?

I do not use GIMP, but if there is a help function try "Selective Coloring" for your search words...or google it with GIMP.

i can tell you how to do it with photoshop and a camera... but. not gimp
She figured out that the only way to keep from being frozen was to stay in motion,
and long ago converted most of her flesh into liquid.
Now when she smells danger, she spills herself all over, like gasoline, and lights it.
