How do i use a gradient as a fill, & is there anything like image filters on gimp?

same as you would in photoshop. Are you using GIMP. or GIMPShop. honestly for someone who (going out on a limb) is new to GIMP, I would stick with gimpshop, much easier to use.

using gimp, thats what was on their site. i found filters.

Ahh i see well if you have it up and working then your good to go, but if you wanna try do a search for GIMPShop..
