Here at Mac-Forums we ask "What have you created this month?"

  • Each member can post two creations in this thread each month.
  • The creation needs to be done in the month covered in the thread title.
  • Images cannot be larger than 800x600 (if you would like to post larger please make a link).
  • Videos must be hosted externally and posted with a http link.
  • This thread is about sharing your work not discussing technique, opinions of what is art, or to make disparaging comments on someone's picture. If you would like to discuss those things, please start a new thread or PM the creator.
  • Please remember this is not the Photo of the Month thread, so do not just post pictures here (they must at least be photoshopped to a degree).
  • Also feel free to post in our Flickr Group!

Ghostshadow is a jewel in the roughGhostshadow is a jewel in the rough
Mac Specs: Ibook G3 - You'll be missed.
I recently did a design for a coffe mug, with my ( / Knox ware) logo. Got some in. The first printing was off center. The second printing was perfect. Here is the first printing.
-------

-------

-------

-------

-------

This is the second printing.

-------

The second thing is, I've been working on a website and logo for a photography company, called obscura. This is what i'm working with right now, the gradiant needs fixed. But it's just a rough sketch right now.

enjoy. sorry for multiple images, i posted multipule of the mug because it's 1 project.

Someone here was looking for a picture of the Terminator2 robot thing with an apple logo and I needed to try out Gimp...

EDIT: Sorry guys, just realised how far over the size limit I went...my apologies. Is there any way I can sort it out or shall I just promise to learn from it?

Here's what I just finished. Inspired by a wallpaper I found at Pixel Girl. The calendar wasn't in english though, and not really my style, so here's my version of it, in english

Click for full version - currently only 1280x800 but if other users request, I can make any other size.

The other thing I made this month, was a custom Adium menu bar icon set, based on the pillows' character, Buster-kun. I'll post a link if/when it is approved by the folks at Adium.

First thing I'd revisit are your strokes. Drop those back by making them a lighter gray.... perhaps 75% or 80%. With them being black, they're going to distract from your work.

Simple portfolio sites work the best. The site should lift the work up instead of distract from it.

Is that a live wallpaper? Meaning, each month, does the calendar change/update?

Another one...wanted to make it for a screenbackdrop

the 1600X1200 makes a decent screenbackground.

It makes it seem like 'plus more' was that single game, and no more.
Nicely edited though.

DB - fantastic looking avatar. Huge difference from your previous avatars I've seen here, but smooth work nevertheless
