Need suggestion for mac compression software for 10.3.9

Hi,

My cousin has a PC and I run a Mac OS 10.3.9 (Panther OS). She tries to send me photos which are compressed using zip software but I am unable to open her files.

Does anyone know of a free Mac compression shareware software like Mac Zip that will work for OS 10.3.9 (Panther OS)?

Aladdin Stuffit was the standard for me. They should have a free version which will allow you to both zip and unzip files. There appear to be better ones out there though. Take a look here, and see what you like

Cleanarchiver 2.3.1 looks to be quite good, and could be just what you need
