Good evening all,
I really need some help, my Power Book G4 crashed last week and is currently with apple so I'm having to use my iBook G4 to work with and I'm missing many things; most of which I have managed to download with the exception of my AvantGarde fonts and one in particular: AvantGarde Bk BT - I desparatly need this font and the site I used to download them from has been removed (free downloads), does anyone have these fonts or direct me to a site where I can download them? Any help would be hugely appreciated .... Off topic, I've been a Mac user for years and I need to replace my iBook with a desk top but I'm very nervous about the new intel chips, any advice or feedback would be appreciated as I'm tempted to hunt out some old stock G5 towers just so I don't have to find out the hard way with the new processor. Thank you. Jonathan |

Welcome to the forums!
A couple sites I use from time to time: http://free-fonts.com/ http://fonts101.com/ http://www.identifont.com/free-fonts.html :black: P.S. - You might want to choose a better title for your thread next time. Something like "Font needed" or "What's a good site for fonts?" would have been a title you could have used. You will likely get more response from that, because it lets people know what you need before they even read it. People are more likely to read it and reply to a thread titled as such, rather than something vague and ambiguous. :black: __________________________________________________ Posting and YOU|Forum Community Guidelines|The Apple Product Cycle|Forum Courtesy mac: a waterproof raincoat made of rubberized fabric MAC: a data communication protocol sub-layer, also known as the Media Access Control Mac: a brand name which covers several lines of personal computers designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc.

Thanks again. Any other links would be grateful as the above don't have the fonts I need. I've posted this thread twice, sorry peeps ... sorry for the cross posting, it was not intentional. Last edited by Vulpine; 10-03-2006 at 03:30 PM. |
