Is it just me? Does anyone else notice all the pictures in Photo Booth are mirror images. All my text is backwards? Just wondering if i'm the only one.

Yeah, it mirrors images, otherwise you'd get confused...

You'd go left and the image would go right...

Have you considered learning how to write backwards?

I think you can tell it not to mirror, although I can't remember how off hand ...

In the edit menu you can set it to auto flip photos.

The live preview will still be mirrored, but the picture you take will be the right way round.

I just posted a video on YouTube and didn't realize until a few days later it was mirrored. I can see the preview mirroring, but saving the images mirrored is dumb. Especially in a video.

The Edit menu isn't the right place for the option. It SHOULD be in preferences, or better yet, right on the app window. And the name of the option doesn't really clearly indicate what it does, or, if you know what it does, which way you'd want it without trying.

Anyway, welcome back from the dead, thread. Guess I'm late to the party.

Yes, the videos in Photo Booth are flipped horizontally. If you want to change that, like I did, go here and follow the instructions. It's really a learning experience, and a lot of fun.
