I am kind of new to the editing world. I love taking pictures and am looking for a good program to edit with. I have been using iphoto, but you can really do much on that.

I am considering photoshop elements because its pretty cheap. but i dont know my other options. any help is appreciated.

one more ?...with element, can you do things like add a person to a picture, and make things? thanks

Elements is a great option, you can do a lot of things with it. Try it, you can download a trial version (30 days).
