So, I just realized that I have lots of duplicates of photos I had on my computer, renamed and then saved to my external hd.

is there a way I can search my photos and find duplicates even if they have a different name? I imagine there is a simple little program. I just dont know what it is.

thanks!

You probably want this:

Black Bilby - Home of Duplicate Image Detector - Removes Duplicate Images From Your Mac

Photo Duplicate Finder identifies dupes not by filename but by other qualities such as identical size and pixel composition. Free trial available, but the program costs $30 for the unrestricted version.
