putting movies in my iDvd cover

My camera can take videos and when I import to iphotos, I usually dont see them in iphotos.

I want to put short videos in on the drop Zones cover screen- when I put them in iDvd.

And can I add movie clips to a photo slideshow?

I read that if I put the movie in imovie and shorten it , then I can put it in quicktime , then tranfer it to my idvd. Has anyone done it that way/

You can use iMovie to shorten your video. Once you have shorten your video. Just save it and imprt it into iDVD. I believe that iMovie and iDVD uses quicktime.
