Have Aperture 3 - can I delete iPhoto to make more space

Hi all,

First post on this forum but have been lurking for a while. I wonder if you can assist me with something that has been bothering me for ages.

All my images appear to be contained within Aperture 3 and iPhoto as I use A3 can I delete them all from iPhoto or delete iPhoto to make more space?

Really, 250MB is going to make a difference to you?? That's the size of the iPhoto application.

I think it's actually the iPhoto LIBRARY you want to delete, not the application. As for whether you can or should, it depends on whether the files are actually in Aperture's own vault or whether they're just linked to the iPhoto Library. In the latter case, deleting the iPhoto Library would of course be disastrous.
