My apologies if this topic has already come up, but after a quick search I couldn't find a thread that helped me out.
My wife is quickly filling the hard drive on our iMac with photos. I have heard that there is a way of transferring your iPhoto and iTunes libraries onto an external hard drive (therefore taking them off of your computers hard drive) and still have them show up when you open the programs, either by setting up the external hard drive as a separate iPhoto driver or whatever. Does someone here have knowledge on how to do this? It would really help us out. Thank you! |
