Hello,

I am studying graphic design at uni and for my dissertation I have decided to research Apple Packaging design and why people love it.

I have created a questionnaire if you could answer it and post replies below as well : Apple Packaging Survey

Thanks in advance

Chris Hewitt

That said, Apple does have the most elegant packaging in the 21st century. Their products are pretty elegantly designed as well all of which goes to the attention to detail that Apple shows with most all of it's products.

Apple had great (ahead of the curve) packaging in the 20th Century as well!

Elegant, functional design, without unnecessary parts. I think that's the rule of design.

Perhaps a rule, but not the rule. Bauhaus design philosophy is very good but not applicable 100% of the time. Especially because "good design" is such a subjective topic.

I do love Apple packaging, it makes me feel good about spending so much on a product

To be honest, the survey needs a lot of work. Don't know how much useful information you'll get out of "0 people buy the product based on what the packaging looks like."

If you find a post helpful, don't forget to use the reputation system (top right of post.)
