I have a new macbook pro and I was just wondering how I can make the wallpaper change from one to another every once in a while. I don't like getting siick of having the same one for a long time so if it would just change every once and a while like a slide show that would be cool. As long as I get to pick the photos first hand I'm sure its possible I just don't know how to set it up so any help would be much appreciated.

  • Right-click on your Desktop
  • Select Change Desktop Background
  • Down at the bottom, check off the box for "Change picture" and set your interval

To pick your own photos in advance, I recommend making a Wallpaper album in iPhoto and adding all your desired wallpaper to that. You can then select that album in the Desktop Background preferences under iPhoto. You can also just make a folder on your drive and pick that, under Folders.

Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).
