Hey there I just got a macbook and I was wondering I took a video and i was looking to take certain frames and turn them into pictures. Meaning transferring the frame into iPhoto. Does anyone know how to on the new updated software? I've tried looking on google but they were all for the older versions of iMovie.

The reason you can't find it is because it's not there. For whatever reason, iMovie '11 doesn't offer that feature.
You can of course "screen capture" the image you want using Shift-command-4. You can also download the free MPEG Streamclip or VLC, open your movie in that and capture frames easily. You can (and should) also leave feedback from within the app saying you'd like to have this feature put back. |
