Can't export photos into "buy/sell" website

Can email photos okay; but cannot export photos to subj website.
Have tried reducing size & exporting image from iphoto into "pictures". From website will then import the image & everything seems to be fine (the image label appears) except photo does not appear in the advertisement. Also tried exporting onto desktop & importing from website, but with same result. PC users don't seem to have any difficulty. I have a 2002 iMac and used to have dial-up but now have highspeed and problem still exists.
Any assistance much appreciated.
