Hi All,
I am stumped as to how to arrange the photos in a Slideshow in the order that I want them with out renaming each of them with some sort of number sequence. Is there any way to drag them into a particular order--perhaps once they are "in" the slide show? I really want to be able to make modifications without having to renumber/rename each photo everytime there is a change. I have iPhoto '09 and am making my first slideshow. I have grabbed the photos from a lot of different spots on my computer (to create a birthday album for our daughter) and assembled them into a single "Event" in iPhoto. I know (or I havent discovered it) that doesn't work in a "regular" event--can only sort by predefined criteria (date, name, etc.)--but hoping I could in the slideshow. Would really appreciate some help fast--her b'day is in 3 days. p.s. have searched these forums, the apple website, help, etc., with no luck on finding info on this. And, if this feature doesn't exist, it should! lol Or does it iPhoto '11? Thanks so much If a dog's prayers were answered, bones would rain from the sky. (Stanley is praying...hard.) It's been a while, but when you do a slideshow I believe a sequence view is shown during Editting (either above or below the main frame) and you can just drag and drop in that sequence where you want them.
Of course, I know everything . . . I just can't remember it all at once.

You are right--you can drag in the photo "strip" at the top. Cumbersome if you have a lot of photos, but it works! Thanks so much. If a dog's prayers were answered, bones would rain from the sky. (Stanley is praying...hard.) |

I'm going to piggyback on this thread, if that's alright. I have iPhoto '11 and just made a slideshow for my son's 1st birthday. I created the slideshow without any problems, but I was hoping to be able to run it on random mode. When I click the setup, there is a random order check box, but I cannot select it. I know I can run a slideshow of an event on random... but why can't I do it on a slideshow that I create?
