Just take a quick stroll through this forum and you'll find quite a few similar threads - here's one to get you started. I've seen many recommendations for GIMP since your requirement is "free". There are some good relatively low cost options out there as well. Check out Pixelmator in the App Store. HELP!! Photoshop/Editor questions!

Is there something you need to do that iPhoto -- which is already on your computer -- can't do? It's actually surprisingly powerful for primarily being a photo *manager.*
Also, why the "free" rubric? You're just cheating yourself there (IMHO) when inexpensive programs like Pixelmator and Photoshop Elements might be exactly what you are looking for. Free in most cases tends to be worth what you paid for it if you get my drift. |
