Ok, I'm new to this forum and new to using a Mac. I have hand drawn pictures that i would like to upload on my computer and edit and add graphics/effects to using a software program for mac. The Adobe programs are too expensive and I dont really want to CREATE anything, just edit existing images and drawings. Does anyone have any suggestions of some good programs?? PLEASE HELP!

GIMP is a great editor.

Check out Pixelmator. GIMP is more than a bit rough around the edges - but for the price (free), it's hard to beat. Pixelmator is fairly inexpensive (around $69 depending on promotions) and available through the Mac App Store.

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!

Photoshop Elements is under $100. Here is a list of free software you can try, not the best, but it's free: 11 Free Adobe Photoshop Alternatives (Softwares)
