How to download pics from a flashdrive to my macbook

I have a macbook that I just received and have a bunch of pics on a flashdrive that I would like to download to my macbook. I installed the flashdrive and I am able to VIEW the pics but I looked (almost )everywhere trying to find a download or save as etc.... Please advise!!!!!

A simple drag & drop will do the job to copy your pictures from the flash drive to your Mac's hard disk.

Classic Windows overthinking!

You can also select all the photos (by lassoing or command-a) and drag them directly to the iPhoto icon on your dock if you wish to import them into iPhoto.
