I scanned an image onto the computer as a .jpeg but when I tried to copy / paste the image into a photoshop the image comes out jibberish. I assume there is a problem somewhere between the scanned image and photoshop? I tried copying an image put into the computer from a camera and it worked ok. How can I copy a scanned image into photoshop? I'm using MAC 10.5.8 and Photoshop Elements 6.

Try using a different format maybe? Open the scanned image in Preview, then Save As and choose a different format like .png
