I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask this, but I can't think of anywhere else it would go. I have a question for the professional photographers.

The 3D package I use most has the option to assign IES profiles to lights in order to get more realistic lighting. I have no clue about photography and was wondering if anyone could tell me the specs on the spotlights commonly used in portrait studios. I need the manufacturer and model of the bulbs used, so I can try to find an IES profile for them. Also, anyone know of a IES profile viewer for Mac's? I have seen ones for Windows, but can't find one for a Mac.

Any help is appreciated.

Erik
