Hi, i've just moved to a mac, my first...YAY...anyway one program i used to use alot was xara xtreme which is a vector graphics program for windows...i'm not sure what my options are now....i can't afford adobe illustrator right now after buying the mac...so i'm looking for something no more then $200aud.... so what sort of vector graphics software is there for mac?
any help appreciated, thanks from casey.

Inkscape is free and quite good. I use it almost daily on Windows. I'd say, try it and see if it is what you're looking for.

Adobe illustrator of course is "the" vector graphics editor. It might be out of your price range, depending on whether you can get a discount or anything.

I've never used this, but it seem LineForm is a vector graphics editor for mac. I'm not sure what it can do that Inkscape can't do, but you could check it out.
