my Photoshop 7.0 runs flawless on my Athlon machine. Now photoshop CS2 is running AWFUL on my Intel MacBook has since day one. Is their a BEST version of Photoshop for my Intel Mac? I will upgrade to CS3 or down grade to something if it would just run better.

CS3 introduced support for Intel Macs by being a Universal product. It's up to you whether or not this justifies paying the price for an upgrade.
