This is my guitar. It is an Epiphone SG. I named it Scarlet because of it's beautiful faded red shade. I love these photos.

Please tell me what you think, go ahead be honest, I can take it. Tell me what you like and what you don't like.

i like the first one till you go down and see the body of the giutar and the may ray lines stand out. for me i have never really liked them. but i rrrreeeallllyyyy like the detail in the foreground.

Not a fan of the outline effect in the first, but the second is very pleasing to the eyes. The grain and the B&W conversion work for it. With a little bit of lettering, it would be something our of a guitar magazine.

It's a halo. It can be caused by too much USM as well as other things.

I just bought a vintage re-issue American strat for $50 on Friday. I actually like it.

Funny, never like Fender guitars at all and now I have a Mexican bass that I love and this new strat.

Great images BlueMac. But Im not to sure if you were going for that "effect" at the bottom on the first image or if you over edit it. Keep up the kewl images.
