Huge ACDSee fan and they have just released a beta for their ACDSee Pro Photo Manager for Mac. It's been one of the few apps I've missed since tossing my PC out. You can get the beta here (link in the article)

Wow! I am absolutely stunned that they are finally giving OS X some attention. I had emailed them a few years ago about the existing Mac version they had that hadn't seen updates in years to point out that some of the features in that version didn't even work, and inquire if there were any updates pending. I used ACDSee Classic for years in Windows before switching and was one app I had to make do without and adjust to. Unfortunately today there's great options and I've gotten pretty accustomed to iPhoto. I'll be curious to see if they actually bring anything innovative to the table now.


Please verify and include the exact model/year of your Mac and OS X version number (available from "About This Mac", then "More Info" on the Apple menu).
