how to get the earth pic of the desktop

Hi,

I have a earth pic as my MacBook desktop and one friend like it very much. So i wanna to get this pic file and send it to my friend.

The problem is I could find this pic file in the system and could not save it and send it in a email.

Would anybody tell where is this pic file and how to get it as a jpg file?

Is the earth desktop pic the stock one that comes with OSX?

If so, it's in Library/ (The Library folder when you first open the hard drive and not the one in users/username) Desktop Pictures/Nature.

Another way is to do the following:

hold down the following keys:
shift+command+4 and then spacebar (command key is the one with apple logo)

Your cursor will change into a camera icon.. click your desktop to take the picture. This will be saved to your desktop automatically.

Now open it in preview and choose file>save as.. (make sure to select JPEG!)

Next step is to simply drag the file from where you saved it to your email and send it to your friend.
