I am running a G4 PowerBook with OSX 10.4.11 and a HP Photosmart 3310 All-in-One printer/ scanner/ etc..

I just recently tried for the first time to scan photo slides and ran into a problem. If I set the scanner for slides as the original it will invert the colors so I wind up with a negative image. If I set it for negatives the same thing happens. The same is true for the automatic function. The invert colors function is pathetic and not worth using.

The manual has almost no info on slide scanning as does the Help menu. Anybody run into this before and is there a work around?

Running MAC OX.5.6 on iMac Intel Duo Core

HP Photosmart Studio crashes everytime it starts up.

If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.

Still have the same problem. After months and months of back and forth with HP tech support they've thrown up their hands and say it is now a Mac OS problem.

If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there.
