I bought a mac about 1 yr ago. (have been happy with it)
I just thought about transferring all my old photos into IPhoto so i could view all of them in one place. When i import them off my DVDs or HDD the photos come up distorted (mosaic pattern), i see half of one photo in another, the colors are switched. This shows up even if i preview the photo (though mac). The photos look normal when i view them on a PC.

Do you guys have any idea what the problem could be?

If i import directly from the source (camera) by connecting it through USB to the MAC i don't have this problem. It seems that every photo that passes though PC is messed up.

QUOTE Thanks
