tiff to jpeg ?

i am new to mac and i need a program to convert a tiff scan to a jpeg so it can be emailed out

smi271o,

If you import your tif pic into iPhoto (in your Application folder), you can go to File>Export and select .jpg and it will put it on your desktop. Then use it in your e-mail.

Another way is to double click on the image so it opens in Preview, then go to Preview Menu/File/Save As.... in the Format box select jpeg and save
